JOB DESCRIPTION
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment, including machinery, HVAC systems, and electrical systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules based on manufacturer recommendations and operational needs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues before they lead to failures, utilizing a systematic approach to problem-solving.
- Conduct tests and measurements to evaluate equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service logs and inventory management, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to production.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, implementing best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist other technicians with maintenance activities as directed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance practices.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Proven aptitude for preventive maintenance or industrial maintenance roles.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and CMMS.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education/Experience/Certifications/Licenses
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or vocational training or a related field preferred
