Production Machine Operator

Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Pay: $20- 22.75/hr

Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

What You'll Do

As a Production Operator, you'll be trained to run a variety of extrusion equipment while ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient production operations. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where teamwork and attention to detail are key.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and inspect extrusion equipment, ensuring safe and efficient performance.
Pull materials from inventory and report damaged or missing items.
Set up machines according to production orders and technical drawings.
Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed.
Label and pack finished materials per work order instructions.
Retrieve samples for quality assurance checks.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
Report safety concerns or hazards to leadership.
Wear required PPE, including a respirator during machine setup.

What You'll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in heavy labor, machine operation, construction, or carpentry.
Strong attendance record and work ethic.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Team-player mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Mechanical aptitude and basic power tool skills.
Ability to learn quickly and follow procedures.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Stable work history (good tenure is a plus).

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.75 - $22.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
