This includes directing coordinating and supporting maintenance personnel working with contractors vendors or company engineering in the modification or installation of equipment and troubleshooting and resolving new and/or different technical problems regarding equipment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:Maintain relevant records and ensuring OSHA standards and programs are implemented.Instruct the use of personal protective equipment.Implementing new ways of improving ergonomics within the facility.Coordinate team member schedules handle clock reports and attendance records.Hold consistent safety meetings.Complete other tasks as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position will have supervisory responsibility.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE RequiredHigh School Diploma AND 5 years of experience in progressively responsible maintenance rolesStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenWorking knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Excel and WordPreferredPoultry plant maintenance experiencePrevious supervisory/leadership experienceGood written and verbal communication skillsBasic Computer skillsGeorges is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to among others individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
