1st Shift Weekend Packer

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a 1st shift weekend Packer to join their dedicated team. As a 1st shift weekend Packer, you will be an essential part of the Packaging Department supporting operational excellence and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Wellsville, OH

Pay Range: $15/hour

Shift: Thursday-Sunday 6am-6pm with a short day Sunday

What's the Job?

• Operate fork trucks safely and efficiently to support packaging operations
• Use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly to ensure safety
• Follow all plant safety guidelines and operational procedures diligently
• Complete all packaging duties as outlined in departmental guidelines
• Monitor and manage packaging line systems for quality and performance

What's Needed?

• Ability to operate manual supersack filling stations and automatic systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
• Effective communication skills for reporting issues and irregularities
• Basic record-keeping skills for documenting packaging and quality data
• Willingness to follow stacking patterns and packaging procedures accurately
