During the summer interns will play meaningful roles in supporting internal and external stakeholders in various departments. Throughout the program interns will expand their collaborative team skills business-to-business acumen technical knowledge and understanding of lending as it relates to insurance premium finance. Our internship offers exposure to senior leaders within AFCO Direct and a support network of mentors and peers. Internship FocusCompliance/Legal College/University major minor and/or specific coursework desired Business Law Political Science Economics FinanceProfessional Interests Risk Management Finance Banking Law Regulatory Compliance Compliance MonitoringSkill Sets Detail oriented analytical collaborative strong verbal and written communication skillsInterns will have networking opportunities with previous interns who are now employed with Truist. They will also have the ability to participate in an internship kick-off event and an end of summer event.Work LocationRemote - VariousEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed both major and minor which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.1. Work with assigned area of the company (AFCO Direct insurance premium finance) to expand knowledge of B2B lending the insurance industry and the company.2. Complete specific projects for departments.3. Assist department staff with various tasks in support of business.4.
