We work together to drive ambition for every future!Is this role right for youThe Industrials Investment Banking group at Scotiabank covers leading companies and financial investors across a wide range of sectors including automotive and business and industrial services. The Industrials team is focused on building and maintaining relationships with senior executives and private equity professionals and providing these clients with a full suite of investment banking services including advising on mergers & acquisitions and equity & debt capital market transactions. Responsibilities:Evaluating and analyzing the financial needs of corporate clients including financial analysis building and analyzing advanced financial models including merger models DCF and dynamic operating modelsCreating marketing materials and meeting presentationsSupporting transaction structuring and execution efforts with increasing levels of responsibility and accountability over timeIdentifying and developing business opportunities with clientsPerform comprehensive financial statement analysis and create and maintain modelsCollect consolidate and interpret company and industry dataFinancial and written analysis of companies and industriesPreparing client presentations including compiling data and assembling presentation materialsApplying product and capital markets knowledge to help clients achieve their financial objectivesRequirements:Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business Finance Math Engineering Economics Science or Technology graduating between December 2026 and July 2027Proven record of outstanding achievement in academic and extracurricular activitiesDemonstrated interest in Industrials & Business Services Investment BankingStrong quantitative skills focused on financial analysis accounting and financial theoryStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent command of Microsoft Suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint A high level of attention to detailThe ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of workThe ability to excel under pressure amid demanding deadlinesThe ability to perform effectively in a team environmentHigh professional standards including a strong sense of personal integrity and teamworkDemonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new situationsA high level of energy and a keen desire to learn new conceptsHow to Apply: You must apply via the Scotiabank career portal and complete all steps outlined below to be considered for this position.Fill out an application by clicking the Apply button.
