We then provide individuals the tools mentorship and experiences needed to build a strong foundation for career growth.Our Commitment to YouCross-functional high impact projects that support our strategic business goalsStructured mentorship support and professional development opportunitiesNetworking opportunities to engage with leaders and build lasting professional connectionsInterns who demonstrate strong leadership potential and high performance are given accelerated consideration into our Leadership Development ProgramWhat Youll DoDuring your time with us you will:Be part of the Manufacturing Engineer team within the Operations organization at GenieProvide daily engineering support for existing product lines and problem-solve issues on the line causing production delaysUtilize lean concepts to make improvementsDevelop and evaluate Engineering Change Request Engineering Change Notice and Special Manufacturing Instruction documentsWhat Youll BringCurrently pursuing an ABET accredited bachelors degree or higher in mechanical engineering electrical engineering automation or similar fieldAble to work full-time 40 hours per week for a full 6 months in-person in Moses Lake WAWork hours M-Th 5:30am-4:00pmDesire to work in a hands-on work environment in a manufacturing plantExperience with Excel Word and PowerPoint as well as SolidWorks and AutoCADAbility to work in a team environmentNice to HavesInterest in joining the Leadership Development Programs after graduationExperience in robotics mechatronics programming (PLC Python) electrical engineering or automationUnderstanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and goalsExperience in hands-on club (FSAE/Baja etc.) or previous internshipsPositive and energeticAbility to organize and complete multiple tasks/projects at one time and/or project management experienceAttention to detail and accuracyThe compensation for this position is $26/hr for undergraduate interns and $28/hr for graduate or returning interns.
