Supporting the world's bravest.Job SummaryJob ResponsibilitiesAdhere to and monitor Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on production capacity, material availability, and contractual requirementsEnsure all items on open Sales Orders, including pass throughs are shipped out on timeObtain agreement from productio, materials and progra, office before execution of the MPSEnsure closeout of old programs/jobs to include the disposition of all manufacturing orders and residual inventoryInterfacing with contracts, planning, master scheduling and production creates and maintain the Internal Operating Plan (IOP)Provide leadership to lower-level planners by communicating work proiroties; provide technical assistance and verify accuracy of workSupervise and mentor lower-level plannersMonitor the performance and results of lower level planners assigned to themEnsure product is moving from production to packaging to shippingWork closely with manufacturing to establish and evolve a stable manufacturing scheduleImprove current system, functions, and daily operations to effectively meet goalsResponsible for rescheduling internal daily delivery requirements if problems require a re-plan to meet internal needs and contractual obligationsSupport, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the companyIntpret and react to MRP signals and recognize when they are inaccuratePerform RCCA of inaccurate MRP signalsJob Responsibilities Part IIQualificationsA minimum of 8 years demonstrated experience in production planning or a Bachelors degree with 5 years minimum experience in a production planning environment in a supervisory roleExtensive experience with MRP/ERP systems on the supply/demand modulesDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot inaccurate MRP supply/demand signals and perform RCCASolid understanding of business processes and functional inter-relationshipsStrong background in project material managementExtensive experience in production planningSkilled in the use of Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, Power Point, Word, as well as SharepointExcellent understanding of MRP systemsThorough understanding of Rework and RMA manufacturing ordersU.S. Citizenship required.
