DescriptionThe Operations Supervisor Accelerated Development Program is designed as a 1518-month assignment to assist the site Operations Manager with day-to-day tasks and special projects. The program participants manage their own projects to assist the team in achieving goals.The identified candidate will begin July of 2026 and will report to the Bowling Green Kentucky site for the duration of the training. The Operations Supervisor ADP is hosted by the Global Supply Chain Organizational Development Department and participants are matched with one of our manufacturing or distribution facilities.After completion of the first 9 months of the program the employee will gain a minimum of 6 months of experience as an Acting Supervisor within the warehouse or production plant completing 2 months in each shift (3 total).ResponsibilitiesPosition Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the Operations Manager within Production and Warehousing Operation functions including:Assisting with planning daily work scheduledParticipate in continuous improvement projects and six sigma trainingSupport site safety programsUnderstanding sites accounting and billing departments for productionWorking with the filling department and filling supervision needsMaintenance & engineering of site equipment and operating procedures to be able to identify and resolve any defect in equipment or productsUnderstand inventory routing and shipping proceduresHuman resources exposure: coordinate and plan employee training development performance management and corrective actions.Supervision of Site Operating teamsExposure to timekeeping and production control systemsQualificationsMinimum Requirements Must have a bachelors degree or higher by the start of this development program.Must be willing to relocate for the position AND upon completion of the program.Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8Must be at least 18 years of agebe legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the futureMust have at least one (1) year of experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word Excel and Power PointPreferred Qualifications Have a major in Managment Engineering Business Administration Operations or Supply ChainHave experience with continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma 5-S Lean Manufacturing etc.Have previous Internship/Co-op experience within Sherwin-Williams.Have previous Internship Co-op or work experience in a related fieldHave previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience extracurricular activities military service etc. Key Skills Project Management Methodology,Project / Program Management,Program Management,Management Experience,Microsoft Powerpoint,Project Management,Microsoft Project,Budgeting,DoD Experience,Leadership Experience,Supervising Experience,Contracts Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
