Start your career today and find out where you fit into the global food supply chain and the mission to feed the worldEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupport the safety and occupational health team.Assist in improving accident and illness prevention programs.Conduct hazard and risk assessments.Prepare and submit safety reports to management.Help with Workers Compensation and safety committees.Investigate accidents and track corrective actions.Participate in safety training sessions and promote safety awareness.Perform regular plant safety inspections.Assist in managing safety programs (exposure control hazard communication respiratory protection hearing conservation).Ensure compliance with safety laws and company policies.Help set standards for PPE and machine guarding.Support ergonomics program development.Review and approve new or modified equipment for safety.Other duties as assigned.What Youll NeedEducation: Enrolled in a four-year university or pursuing a bachelors degree preferably in a related field.
