Our team solves tough meaningful problems that create a safer more secure world.Job Summary:As a Systems Engineering Intern within the Space & Airborne Center you will interface with the customers to develop CONOPS system architecture system requirements and manage qualification verification and validation. Our center focuses on front end design and development as well as transitioning systems through integration and test to production. You will also perform functional / physical analysis allocation and trade studies.You will support antenna requirements development engineering testing integration and flight-testing production system deployment and post deployment support across the product lifecycle. Through Digital Transformation (DTx) you will perform these functions using a variety of methods and enabling technologies including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Agile product development.This position is onsite role.This position can be a Sophomore Junior or Senior Technical Intern based on the candidates qualifications and standing as outlined below:(Sophomore Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelors degree program and classified as a Sophomore by start of internship and provide proof of graduation prior to first day of employment.(Junior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelors degree program and classified as a Junior by start of internship and provide proof of graduation prior to first day of employment.(Senior Technical Intern)- must be enrolled in a Bachelors degree program and classified as a Senior by start of internship and provide proof of graduation prior to first day of employment.What You Will Do:Support systems requirement development and analysis.Support activities in our labs and document requirement verifications.Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations including the use of analysis tools such as MATLAB and PythonPrepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholdersQualifications You Must Have:This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelors (or higher) Electrical Engineering Systems Engineering or Aerospace Engineering degree programAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
