SETC is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to design develop and test to shape innovative solutions for our customers. This role is 100% on-site at our Tucson AZ campus.What You Will Do:In this Systems Engineer role you will support the following types of activities:Core Systems Engineering: Update develop maintain and improve requirements concepts of operations and define system interfaces.Lead Testing Efforts: Develop and implement test plans procedures integration and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments and perform/execute the testingTroubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware software and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems evaluating their functionality and impact.Decision analysis & Resolution: Conduct trade studies and present results to stakeholders.Collaborate and Lead: Work with and lead a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation execute plans analyze data verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.Perform Data Analysis: Conduct statistical and numerical analysis test data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.Present Findings: Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.Support Missions: Travel as needed to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities test sites vendor facilities and customer locations.Qualifications You Must Have: Masters degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships)Experience with systems software systems hardware systems requirements systems integration and/or systems test.Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain and maintain program access as required.Qualifications We Prefer:Experience in the Defense Industry and specifically with military systems; tactics techniques and procedures as well as Department of Defense customer infrastructure experience.Experience with DOORS Rhapsody Cameo or other digital engineering tools.Experience with model-based engineering and associated toolsExperience in developing and managing requirements.Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB.Experience with performing performance analysis and presenting analytical and technical materialExperience with generating technical documentation such as trade studies test plans procedures or technical reports.Experience working in an integration lab test facility or in the field supporting integration and/or verification.Experience with evaluating systems using simulated environments.Experience interfacing with internal and external customersMasters or PhD in Science Technology Engineering or MathematicsUnderstanding of the Systems Engineering Product CycleWhat We Offer:Our values drive our actions behaviors and performance with a vision for a safer more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
