As a district we are also committed to supporting the whole child by promoting a trusting mutually respectful and inspiring culture that values the individuality of our students and the professionalism of the field.Qualifications:Excellent musicianship and artistry as a teacher/performerStrong understanding of violin pedagogyStrong commitment to El Sistemas philosophy of social change through musicExperience working with children from diverse ethnic and economic backgroundsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsSelf-motivated and willing to collaborate in a team-teaching environmentAt least 2 years of prior teaching experience preferredBachelors or equivalent degree in Music Performance or Music EducationResponsibilities:Develop and teach engaging group violin lessons that:Establish routines and encourage development of strong fundamental musical skillsIncorporate a variety of strategies (movement ear training music reading bowing/plucking) and activities (exercises games demonstration listening etc)Maintain excellent classroom managementAdapt to the needs of students at various levels and with various learning stylesEncourage peer teachingCollaborate closely with the administration and faculty to achieve program-wide learning goalsMaintaining a positive and nurturing classroom environmentSet and maintain high standards for student behavior and music learningEnforce program rules and policies Key Skills 3ds Max,Computer Graphics,Perforce,Zbrush,Unreal Engine,Maya,Painting,Teaching,Adobe Photoshop,Digital Art,Music Therapy,Unity Employment Type : Part-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
