2nd shift Electrical Control Technician at SMV Recruiting

SMV Recruiting is actively looking for a 2nd shift Electrical Control Tech (electrically focused) in Concord, NC. Our client is looking for candidates with at least 5+ years of electrical maintenance experience and 3+ years in a manufacturing setting. Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, piping, pumps, chilled water systems, and troubleshooting electrical controls is strongly preferred. Responsibilities:Install, rig, troubleshoot, and repair all production machinery, tools, equipment, and provide light facilities supportPerform electrical repairs on production machines and troubleshoot PLCs (depending on experience) Rewire circuits using ladder diagrams without documentation (to qualify as an ECT) Maintenance on pneumatic and hydraulic components Use a variety of precision measuring and electrical instrumentsMaintain, repair and operate boiler, piping, pumps and chilled water systemsEnsure preventative maintenance procedures are followedMaintain and repair HVAC equipmentWire electrically, size accordingly and plumb both air and steam by either verbal instructions or from a printCapable of set up and operation of a variety of both machine shop and maintenance repair equipmentSupport department mechanics through hands on training and/or troubleshooting of equipment in production areasOperate forklift trucks to move equipment and machinery Requirements:3-5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required5+ years of electrical maintenance experience required to qualify as an Electrical Control Technician is requiredExperience with injection molding machines is strongly preferredStrong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (especially within injection molding) is a plusWelding experience is strongly desiredForklift certification is preferredExperience with ASI System, Matrix, and NCR Database is a plus
