2nd Shift Finishing Processor (Commercial) at Tarkett

SHIFT HOURS: M-F 5PM - 3AM Schedule can vary during peak season. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOBWork on the tile press. Inspect tile catch and stack tile. Lift boxes with tilestack tile boxes. Work on the Inspection tablewrap rolls of carpet. Inspect carpet.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInspect & box 1st quality tile.Move and stack tile boxes weighing 45 lbs.Label boxes.Inspect and wrap roll goods.HousekeepingOther duties assigned by the supervisor.OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESComply with all safety policies practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to the supervisor and Human Resources. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCELess than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondences and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients and other company associates.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
