We are seeking an experienced 2nd ShiftLanding Gear Technicianto join our award-winning team in Miami FL with a focus on the building and tear-down of various landing gears and components. Reporting to the Landing Gear Manager the ideal candidate will use their experience and knowledge to perform high-quality alterations.2nd Shift Hours are2PM-10:30PM Mon-Fri.**Important Notice:Eligibility Requirement: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. The company does not provide visa sponsorship or accept candidates requiring sponsorship.Responsibilities:Disassemble clean and inspect landing gear components for wear corrosion or damageUtilize knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of componentsPerform polishing honing and/or plating of various landing gear parts including cylinders pistons and bushings using specialized tools and equipmentMeasure components using micrometers calipers and other precision tools to verify compliance with specificationsAssist in troubleshooting component issues and recommend repair or replacementAccurately complete all required paperwork including inspection records work orders and traceability logsMaintain a clean organized and safe work environmentQualifications:Minimum of high school diplomaor equivalent and 1yearof related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience1 years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assembliesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings manuals and blueprintsFamiliarity with FAA regulations and Part 145 repair station requirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsCheck out how GA Telesis is Intelligently Defining the FUTURE of Aviation and Aerospace by following us on LinkedIn Instagram Facebook!
