2nd Shift CNC Supervisor Pay Scale: $35 -$45/hr depending on experience Our Equipment and Capabilities Okuma CNC lathes including LT2000 EX and LB series machines Doosan and vertical and horizontal CNCs Haas VF series CNC Brother CNC Mazak CNC AS9100 certified Quality Management System Strong focus on 5S Standard Work and continuous improvement projects Team environment built around accountability clear communication and on time performance Schedule Shift runs from 2:30 pm to 11 pm. The supervisor will start at 2:00pm to get ready for the shift Overtime may extend to 12 am. Only if Supervisor extends overtime. Saturday overtime from 10 am to 4 pm Trade weekends with the Lead as needed Position Summary The Second Shift Supervisor oversees all production activities during second shift and ensures safe operation quality compliance and on time performance. This role provides direction to CNC responds to issues that affect production flow and maintains communication with the Operations Manager and Production Supervisor. The Supervisor is responsible for supporting employees enforcing company standards and keeping the shift moving in a consistent and organized manner. Key Responsibilities Lead all second shift production employees and maintain a strong presence on the floor Ensure work is completed according to the production plan and router instructions Support CNC operations with troubleshooting tooling coordination and process verification Support Deburr operations and prioritize jobs based on the production schedule Ensure all work follows Standard Work and address deviations immediately Provide shift end communication regarding machines tooling quality issues staffing and schedule changes Coordinate with Quality for holds scrap reporting inspections and immediate problem resolution Report equipment concerns to Maintenance and follow up until resolved Train new hires and support cross training to strengthen team flexibility Maintain safety compliance and ensure PPE and safe practices are followed Manage attendance concerns and support HR with documentation Ensure a clean organized and professional work environment Support continuous improvement and help implement process improvements Required Qualifications 2 to 4 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of CNC lathe machining with tolerances of .0001 Ability to lead by example with strong communication and consistent follow through Knowledge of Standard Work instructions and quality requirements Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism Strong problem solving skills and confidence in making decisions under pressure computer skills in ERP systems and Excel Preferred Qualifications 4 to 7 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Aerospace machining experience Experience with E2 or similar ERP Bilingual English and Vietnamese Physical Requirements Ability to walk the production floor throughout the shift Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Key Skills Lean Manufacturing,Fashion Retail,CNC Milling Machine,Machining,CNC,Vehicle Maintenance,CNC Lathe,Fabrication,Maintenance,Welding,Supervising Experience,Woodworking Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
