The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years of packaging experience with an engineering background. ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage all production, housekeeping, and support activities on the 2nd shiftServe as liaison between production and other departments, making plant-wide decisionsMaintain high visibility on the production floorApply process, equipment, and system knowledge to set challenging standardsCoach supervisors on safety, line utilization, and quality performanceEnsure equipment reliability to minimize downtimeEnsure compliance with Health & Safety regulationsSupervise work teams, evaluate efficiency, and implement process improvementsProvide training to new and seasoned employees on skills and quality standardsObserve and enforce safety procedures to prevent injuries; suggest safety improvementsReduce production downtime and ensure timely completion of PMsDevelop maintenance technicians' capabilities RequirementsBachelor's Degree or Associates Degree, with 3 years experience Minimum 2-years supervisory experienceMechanical equipment maintenance experienceProficient with tools and equipment used in component manufacturingProficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule (early mornings, evenings, weekends)
