Thermacell is home to 125 full-time employees across three U.S. hubs Bedford MA (Corporate Headquarters) Buford GA (Manufacturing & Distribution) and Hampton FL (Science & Research Center) and is expanding its footprint in the UK & Europe.ROLE PURPOSE:Thermacell is currently seeking to grow our manufacturing business and is looking for a highly motivated Manufacturing Line Operator. Manufacturing Line Operators are responsible for performing an array of duties such as operating manufacturing equipment assembling packaging inspecting materials or performing warehouse functions. This role will report to the Manufacturing Management Team.STATUS: Non-ExemptWORKING HOURS: 3:00 pm 11:30 pm M-F (extended hours during busy season and occasional Saturdays)WORK LOCATION: 3157 Buford Highway Buford GA 30518Please note: This position is not eligible for work authorization sponsorship by the company now or in the future. Candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a full time basis.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Operating equipment: Setting up and operating production lines assembly machines conveyors and packaging machineryReporting: Completing productivity reports detailing the number of parts or products made during each shiftAdheres to all manufacturing standard operating proceduresPerforms Quality Control checks including inspecting and testing finished products for defects and quality assuranceDevelop and adherence to equipment centerline and running line standardsFollow equipment and process troubleshooting methodologies: Why-Why 5W2H etc. and making basic equipment repairsEnsure adherence to manufacturing key performance indicatorsProduction assembly operationsUtilize RF gun/scanning systems and interact with tracking systemsAbility to perform change overs and make process adjustmentsMeets company productivity and quality standardsLoads and unloads trucksMaintains clean work area to ensure compliance with safety regulationsAdherence to established safety policies and proceduresOther duties may be assignedTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:Lives our core values of Drive Ownership Integrity Teamwork and EvolutionAuthentic and personable humble smartRelentless work ethic juiced by results not titles or activitiesExternally competitive internally collaborativeHighly resourceful.
