JOB DESCRIPTION

2nd Shift Production Technician

Join us as a 2nd Shift Production Technician, where you will work from 4 PM to 12:30 AM. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to learn a trade as you will be trained to perform Composite Technician type work. We are seeking individuals who have experience working with their hands and are eager to learn our production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Receive training in specific production processes, including tape wrapping, cutting, bonding, lay-up, and bagging.
  • Measure and visually inspect products to ensure quality standards.
  • Set up, operate, or tend metal molding, casting, or coremaking machines to mold metal parts or products.
  • Smooth and clean inner surfaces of molds using brushes, scrapers, air hoses, or grinding wheels, and fill imperfections with refractory material.
  • Mix and measure compounds or weigh premixed compounds accurately.
  • Adjust temperature controls of ovens to meet production requirements.
  • Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with hand tools.
  • Background in mechanical, manufacturing, or construction environments.
  • Willingness to perform repetitive work.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Good communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Aerospace experience is a plus.
  • Mechanical or construction experience.
  • Interested in building parts.
  • Not afraid to get dirty.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
