Help us make our Farm Fresh Goodness Great!WORK SHIFT SCHEDULE:This is a rotating 12-hour work shift - 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.NOTE: The seasonal nature of our business often requires working overtime. Therefore hours may fluctuate due to business necessity and meeting operational needs.RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of electric or gas powered forklifts to and from various departments.Unload load transfer and stack brite or finished goods and supplies from trucks etc.Interpret shipping order or receiving report to determine item to be (un)loaded.Ability to stack and unstack pallets of products in rows and up to 5 high.Check product for quality and proper shipping information.Daily inspection of vehicle before operating corrects any low fluid levels.Track input change and update data of inventory.Complies with proper weight distribution on rail cars and trucks.Ensure that GMPs (General manufacturing Practices) safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforcedMaintains general houskeeping.All other duties assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to :Work 12-hour scheduled shiftsRead and write the English languagePass the Seneca Forklift certification test.Basic knowledge of Forklifts.Goodwritten and oral communication skills.Requires good judgement and decision making skills.1 - 3 months of previous forklift experience helpful but not necessary.Wage range based on skills abilities and experience from $19.50 to $31.50/hourSeneca Foods Corporation is committed to providing equal opportunity for all through a positive and continuing affirmative action program.
