Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: 3D Structural Designer/DrafterQualifications:An Associates or two-year drafting degree preferred.Two years of experience in structural designing preferred.Experience with Solidworks preferred.Experience with Tekla SDS2 Advanced Steel preferred.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Promotes, executes, and adheres to the companys safety program.Produces accurate shop detail drawings, erection plans, advance mil tests and bill of materials. Interprets and incorporates accurately customers designs and specifications for shop drawings to meet quality requirements.Establishes a material list identifying grade, size and quantity for each job. Delivers drawings according to customer schedule.Reviews contract drawings for all requirements on a project.Starts and maintains a record of all design and drawings in current drawing log.Produces anchor bolt plans, erection, assembly, and shop drawings required to complete fabrication and erection of a project.Verifies fabrication drawings on hard copy.
