Job DescriptionJob DescriptionArent certified? No worries! We will fully certify you to become a registered behavior technicianRegistered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing individualized behavior-analytic programs as designed by our supervisory team. Services are provided in home, school, clinic, and community settings across the Honolulu and Windward areas.Primary Responsibilities Include:Delivering 1:1 ABA services using evidence-based methods (e.g., DTT, NET, VB, PRT, RFT).Implementing Skill-Based Treatment (SBT) and components of the Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) model (Level 2 training provided to all staff; Level 3–4 training provided to providers who demonstrate interest and promise—paid in full by the company).Running group-based skill-building sessions for 4–7 participants when qualified.Collecting and recording data using company-issued iPads.Collaborating with BCBAs, supervisors, and families.Maintaining professionalism, punctuality, and reliability in all service settings.Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma (some college preferred).Active RBT certification or enrollment in an RBT course.Current First Aid & BLS/CPR certifications (within the last 6 months).Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, vehicle insurance/safety/registration.Reliable phone, computer, and internet access.Ability to pass a background check.At least one year working with children (preferred).Experience with ABA programs (DTT, VB, PECS, PRT, RFT, SBT) preferred but not required—training provided.Access to military installations is a plus, not required.2. Salary RangeField-Based RBT Services: $21.00–$27.00 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated competency.Group Session Rate: Qualified RBTs independently running group sessions (4–7 participants) following BCBA-designed curriculum receive $30.00 per hour for group-session time only.All other direct service hours remain at the base rate ($21.00–$27.00).Positions typically average 30 hours/week, with opportunities up to 40 hours/week. Availability Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. is required; some Saturday work may be needed depending on client needs.3. Breakdown of BenefitsFor qualifying providers based on hours worked:Health & Prescription Insurance (Medical): Employee pays 1.5% of gross pay; ABA STEPS covers the remainder.Dental Insurance: Available for a nominal employee contribution.Vision/Optical Insurance: Available for a nominal employee contribution.Aflac Supplemental Insurance: ABA STEPS sponsors up to $25/month toward Aflac policies.Paid Initial Training for all incoming RBTs.RBT Competency Assessment & Required Supervision provided at no cost.Paid Time Off: 1 week paid PTO + 1 week unpaid PTO initially; increases up to 3 weeks paid+ 1 week unpaid with length of employment.Retirement Plan: 401(k) with 4% employer match through Vanguard.Ongoing Continuing Education (CE) Opportunities.BCBA Supervision provided by master’s-level Supervisors and Directors.Company-Issued iPad for data collection and communication systems.Physical Office Location for HR support, clinical meetings, materials, and staff resources.PFA–SBT Training: Level 2 provided to all staff; eligible providers may receive Level 3–4 credentialing fully paid by ABA STEPS (valued at $10,000).Eat Without Tears (EWT) Feeding Program Training plus ongoing training in relevant curricula.AIM Curriculum Training focused on emotional regulation and mindfulness-based ABA interventions.PEAK Training (Level 1) for advanced language, cognition, and skill acquisition.PLS Training (Pragmatic Language/Social Skills programming) for social skills instruction and group facilitation.Career Growth Opportunities within a rapidly expanding, supportive, and training-rich organization.4.
