Job DescriptionJob Description Job Title: Behavior Technician (BT) Location: Bergen County Schedule: Hourly Work Location: Job Summary:We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide personalized training, support, and care to individuals with developmental disabilities in a nurturing and collaborative environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of others and who thrive in a team-oriented setting.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct support and behavior intervention services to individuals with Intellectual and developmental disabilitiesImplement individualized behavior support plans under the supervision of a BCBASupport clients in developing skills in communication, self-help, socialization, and daily livingRecord data on client progress and behavior throughout each sessionWork collaboratively with other professionals and family membersMaintain a safe and supportive environmentMaintain organized documentationFollow established protocols, including safety, confidentiality, and reporting proceduresQualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldExperience or education in Human Services, developmental disabilities, psychology, or a related field is preferredExperience working with individuals with autism and/or behavioral challenges is highly preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsPatience, empathy, and compassionate demeanorAbility to work effectively as part of a teamMust have current First Aid and CPR certification (required)Must pass fingerprinting/background checksCompensation:Pay Range: $25.00 – $50.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and credentials)If you're looking to make a positive difference in the lives of others while working in a supportive and rewarding environment, we encourage you to apply!
