Job SummaryBehavior Advocacy is seeking an on-site role for an RBT/ABA Therapist located in South Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. The ABA Therapist will work with clients with autism and other developmental disabilities primarily with School-Age Children ages 3-18 years old, to improve behaviors, social skills, and communication. The ABA Therapist will be responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans in which the supervising BCBA creates, collecting data, and collaborating with the clinical team. Feedback and support is frequent, so good communication skills are a requirement. Applicant must have afternoon (afterschool availability).ResponsibilitiesCollect Data while implementing the interventionComplete Daily session notes and logsCommunicate with the Supervising BCBAImplement Behavior Intervention Plans created by the Supervising BCBABuild rapport and engage in a variety of activities with the client and their family (playing games, conversation activities, outside play, etc.)QualificationsMust be authorized to work in the USMust possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportationMust have a High School Diploma or equivalentMust have worked with school-age children beforePrior experience in ABA is NOT required but is preferred.Must possess exceptional communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team membersMust be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsMust be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changes in client needs and treatment plansMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and participate in physical play and activitiesPrior experience in behavioral therapy and data collection is strongly preferred but not requiredA Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field is preferred but not requiredBenefits/PerksCareers Advancement OpportunitiesFrequent SupervisionIndividualized TrainingPaid TrainingsLife Mart Benefits
