Full-time employees are guaranteed 37-40 hours per week!Our work environment includes:Lively atmosphereCasual work attireOn-the-job trainingCompany perksFlexible working hoursRelaxed atmospherePediatric Behavioral Therapist- Perfect for those seeking jobs similar to a nanny or teacher or for those looking to get their foot in the door of a healthcare field!Bluestone Children's Center is looking for behavior therapists to join our growing team!Our therapists participate in direct one-on-one implementation of behavior intervention techniques and curriculum under direct supervision of a Bluestone BCBA in a clinical preschool-style program. They are expected to:A. Record accurate data regarding child's acquisition of skills and other target behaviors, maintenance of generalization data for previously acquired skills, create and maintain behavioral graphs, and create treatment notes daily to be reviewed with parents prior to the child’s departure.B. Assist in the maintenance of curriculum materials (e.g., curriculum binder, iPad data collection, data sheets adjustments/creation, creation of program specific stimuli, student specific materials etc.).C. Assist in additional maintenance activities necessary to ensure clean and safe treatment area for patients.D. Interact appropriately with young developmentally delayed children, their parents, staff and school personnelE. Abide by HIPPA compliance policies and maintain a professional demeanerF. Manage numerous tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentG. Receive and deliver feedback in a professional mannerH. Be able to lift at least 50 poundsI. Commit to at least 1 year with the company working up to 40 hours per week.J. Have fun on a daily basis! We take pride in making learning fun for our kiddos!Behavior therapists are expected to have the ability to apply the principles of applied behavior analysis (e.g., ABA) under direct supervision of a Bluestone BCBA, teach developmentally appropriate skills and intervene on potentially difficult behaviors for young children with autism spectrum disorders (all employees go through paid training to review and practice principles of ABA).
