Job Description

Job Summary: National Power has an immediate need for a dependable AC Electrician Helper to join our team in our southeastern U.S. region. Under the general direction of and reporting to the Project Manager the AC Electrician Helper will primarily be responsible for assisting the lead electrician with electrical work in the installation alteration maintenance and repair of electrical systems fixtures and equipment for National Power customers.Key Responsibilities:Assist electricians in the installation maintenance and repair of air conditioning systemsHelp with wiring conduit installation and electrical component assemblyPerform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics on AC systemsMaintain a clean and organized work environmentFollow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environmentObtain required equipment tools and materials for projectsCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisorsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentBasic understanding of electrical systems and componentsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and diagramsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPhysical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmentsWillingness to learn and take direction from experienced electriciansValid drivers license and reliable transportationAbility to learn or knowledge of the NEC and Interpret blueprints and carry out work accordinglyAbility to obtain safety certifications after hired company sponsoredPreferred Qualifications:High School Diploma / GEDExperience in the telecommunications industry a plusPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 75 poundsAbility to work in confined spaces and at heightsAbility to stand walk and bend for extended periodsManual dexterity to handle tools and equipmentAbility to work in various weather conditionsCompensation & Benefits:Salary Range:$22.00 - $25.00 per hourCompensation is based on:Relevant experience in critical infrastructure sectorsTechnical knowledge and certificationsBenefits:Competitive salaryHealth dental and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional development and advancementAdditional Info:Criminal background check pre-employment drug screen and MVR requiredThis is a remote position and will require the employee to work away from home.
