Depending upon teaching assignments and student demand, this could include the Carrollton or Newnan campuses. Job Summary This position will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and quality assurance over the USG eMajor post-matriculation team. In close coordination with affiliate institutions, this position will manage Academic Advisor and Enrollment & Retention Specialist roles to ensure consistent, effective, and equitable eCampus collaborative academic advising and retention support services while growing these services. The position will lead the development and execution of multi-institutional advising processes, training frameworks, student communication strategies, and system access protocols to support scalable, sustainable, and high-quality advising and retention services. This position will also serve as the primary liaison to institutional advising directors, academic leads, and system-wide advising forums to ensure alignment, collaboration, and visibility of eCampus advising initiatives. The Collaborative Academic Advising Manager will support strategic projects including degree completion-, academic planning-, and advising-related policy and process enhancements in alignment with institutional enrollment management and student success initiatives.Responsibilities Responsibilities - Oversee the development, implementation, and assessment of collaborative academic advising policies, procedures, and quality assurance frameworks across institutional affiliatesManage USG eMajor post-matriculation team, providing direct supervision to two Academic Advisors and one Enrollment & Retention SpecialistAddress systemic barriers to advising service delivery, including technical access issues, platform inconsistencies, and academic policy variations across institutionsServe as liaison to institutional advising and academic leadership to promote effective collaboration, student advocacy, and aligned decision-makingLead and coordinate advisor training, development, and support to promote consistency and excellence in service delivery Support strategic initiatives, including growth initiatives, Credit for Prior Learning (CPL), course rotation planning, and retention/success interventionsOther duties as assigned by the Director of Enrollment and Retention Services, including serving on the eCampus Student Success TeamRequired Qualifications Educational RequirementsMaster's DegreeRequired ExperienceAt least five years of academic advising or related student services experienceStrong understanding of academic policies, degree planning and student information systems (e.g., DegreeWorks, Banner, Navigate)Proven ability to lead a team and coordinate operational initiatives across multiple stakeholdersAbility to analyze complex processes, identify gaps, and implement sustainable improvements to deliver value for students and institutions Skilled in stakeholder engagement and partnership-building in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications Preferred ExperienceDemonstrated experience with multi-institutional collaboration or shared services models in higher educationPrior experience driving student outcomes, quality assurance, or advising assessment initiatives in an academic settingUSG experience, including familiarity with governance structures, policy-making processes, and statewide advising networksProposed Salary $75,000 Annually.
