With offices across North America we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the worlds leading professional services firm Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).A day in the life:As an Account Analyst within Private Client Services (PCS) you will support the account management teams with various administrative service functions across Personal Insurance Business Insurance or Employee Benefits Departments. You will become an integral part of this team receiving on the job training and on-going support from management and team members.We will count on you to:Process notices of cancellations non-renewals and reinstatements notices and communicate issues to the account management team Collect complete and update census information Review and process applications binders endorsements renewals and new business policies census/enrollment requests and certificates of insurance Handle billing questions auto ID cards requests for insurance verification from customers and mortgage/title/closing agents certificates of insurance census and department specific administrative processes. Prepare premium quotations on new business renewal business and any policy changes on existing policies Understand all carrier online capabilities for billing and processing as necessary to complete your work processes Be familiar with and adhere to the departments procedure manual for processing workflowsFollow all systems procedures and regulations set forth by both the agency and the insurance companies Continue to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities Our future colleague2 years of insurance industry experience ideally working in Personal Lines in a brokerage environmentActive P&C insurance license or willingness to obtain within first 90 daysEffective oral and written communication and relationship building skills essentialProficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word Excel and PowerPointExceptional time management and organization skillsas well as strong attention to detailThese additional qualifications are a plus but not required to apply:Bachelors Degree in Risk Management Business Management Finance or other relevant programExperience with SalesForce or EpicWe know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
