Southwest Strategies Group is seeking a full-time entry-level Account Coordinator to join our San Jose team. You will support project managers with community outreach media relations and social media for the agencys wide range of development transportation infrastructure and energy clients.Southwest Strategies Group is focused on building leaders in our industry and community. We approach every project as a trusted partner leveraging our decades of expertise to provide custom strategies that help our clients get results.Essential Functions/ResponsibilitiesCultivate community awareness and support for projects through targeted outreach canvassing phone calls meetings and eventsProvide general account support to clients needing community relations digital advocacy and strategic communication servicesDevelop engaging and innovative content for social media advertising videos websites fact sheets presentations newsletters and other collateralAssist with special event planning and coordination including conducting preliminary research and supporting event execution and staffingAssist with client-related media coverage and social media trackingConduct in-depth client-related research and develop stakeholder databasesRespond to stakeholder inquiries and track outreach and activities in project logsManage client action item and task listsAssist in coordinating public hearings or open houses including managing invites tracking RSVPs and supporting set up and cleanup activitiesAdditional responsibilities as assignedLocation and Travel:This position is primarily based at a client site in San Jose with an expected on-site presence of approximately 4 days per week subject to change based on client needs and availability. The role may also involve early mornings evenings and weekend hours as needed.Compensation:The annual base amount for this position is dependent on several factors including the candidates geographic location experience and qualifications. The annual base amount may be adjusted based on market conditions in the location where the employee resides.A typical annual base range for this role is: $52000 $68000 - non-exempt hourly (actual compensation may vary by location and will follow local regulations).RequirementsQualificationsBachelors degree in Communications English Public Relations Marketing Journalism Public Administration or similar preferredFamiliarity with AP Style and standard rules of grammarSpanish fluency preferredRequired Experience:IC Key Skills Time Management,Marketing,Microsoft Office,Public Relations,Customer Service,Microsoft Outlook,Microsoft Word,Account Management,Microsoft Powerpoint,Microsoft Excel,Social Media Management,Sales Support Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Monthly Salary Salary: 52000 - 68000
