JOB DESCRIPTION
Account Manager
Join a dynamic and fast-paced environment as an Account Manager, where you will be responsible for managing customer accounts by supporting relationships, quoting, order processing, order status updates, dispute resolution, and answering basic technical questions. This role focuses on retaining and servicing current clients, with no requirement for cold calls or business development.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a wide variety of inquiries regarding transactions, products, and services.
- Resolve disputes and manage customer complaint resolution.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production, quality, sales, and shipping teams to advocate for customers and ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Provide basic technical assistance regarding products and services such as pressure, flow, and electricity.
- Receive and enter order information via phone, web portals, email, and regional sales; follow up to clarify order information, pricing, and shipping methods.
- Perform document management, order entry, and quoting.
Essential Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in a technical customer service environment, account management, or order entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of process flow requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Associates Degree.
- Experience with SAP Sales & Distribution is preferred.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish, French, or English are preferred but not required.
Work Environment:
The role is fully onsite, with working hours from 8 am to 5 pm including a 1-hour lunch break. The position offers a comfortable and quiet building with a cubicle workspace. You will work closely with a team of four in an open, collaborative environment, supported by thorough training and a family-oriented culture that values open communication and team support. There is an opportunity to manage global accounts and grow into full account ownership in a collaborative environment with direct access to leadership.
Job Type & Location:
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
