For more information please visit ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITYRole ProfilePosition: Account ManagerJob Location: Louisville KY (Branham)Job Type:Full-TimeStatus:ExemptSummary of the RoleThe function of the Account Manager is to successfully develop and strengthen Branham Industrial/LGG Industrial relationships with customers identifying needs and opportunities within and across product lines and provide value to customers while strengthening business results. Works as part of a collaborative team to drive sales by focusing on acquisition development retention and management of strategic customers in designated territories.ResponsibilitiesMust maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and proceduresPromotes and sells company products systems and services to new and existing customersDevelops and manages a strategic and comprehensive territory plan to exceed targets for gross profit and salesBuilds and maintains strong relationships with new sales prospects existing customers and internal support personnelthrough consistent communication both onsite and virtualCollaborates with internal business partners to provide value added solutions that make a material impact for our customers while driving profitable revenuePartners with internal teams to maintain accurate data and efficienciesProvides consistent communication with customers to include business reviews order status pricing on-time delivery etc.Occasional customer support after traditional business hours as appropriateOptimizes CRM utilization for pipeline management and consistent call note activityPerform other duties as trained and qualified forSkills and AbilitiesPossess excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers and team-members in a professional mannerStrong organizational and communication skills above average mechanical aptitude and the ability to interact with a diverse customer basePresentation skills with the ability to read an audience and tailor messages to its needsStrong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word Outlook and ExcelStrong mechanical aptitude with the ability to successfully operate tools and machineryMinimum QualificationsMust have either 2 years of sales service and/or industrial distribution experience or a college degree in Industrial Distribution or related degree programMust have valid drivers licenseand a clean driving recordBackground checks and drug screening may be required (as warranted by Company and/ or Customer requirements in working on-site)Requires proficiency in math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division in units of measure. Additionally must be able to perform calculations using whole numbers fractions and decimalsAbility to travel within assigned territory which would include automobile and/or airplane plus overnight travelAbility to work nights and weekends as requiredAbility to work overtime as requiredReliable transportation is a mustPreferred Qualifications3-7 years of proven outside industrial sales experienceUniversity degree in engineering business or related area of study preferred; will consider equivalent work experienceAbility to use sales process to uncover customer objections/concerns and determine appropriate solutionsProduct knowledge in hose gasket and conveyor systems a plusPhysical Requirements and Work EnvironmentThis role includes a mix of office and field environments. A minimum of 60% of your work week will be spent in the field visiting customer sites which may include warehouses industrial facilities or construction environments. Customer site visits may involve exposure to varying environmental conditions such as noise temperature changes or dust. The office environment may require using standard office equipment (such as computers phones and printers).
