With offices across North America we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the worlds leading professional services firm Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).A day in the life:As an Account Manager within Private Client Services (PCS) you will be responsible for developing and servicing new and existing Private Client Group accounts. Serving as an advisor to clients you will maintain and retain existing business while following up on referrals and rounding client accounts. You will become an integral part of this team receiving on the job training and on-going support from management and team members.We will count on you to:Act as the primary contact with the Producer and/or Client.Place new business and cross sell as needed to maintain clients insurance program.Function as the primary contact with all vendors to ensure proper processing of all requests necessary to effectively maintain the clients insurance program.Manage all components of the renewal process for clients.Create Acord applications including Supplemental as needed for submissions to carriers.Prepare proposals or summaries for renewal terms when requested.Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies Create requests for changes to clients coveragesProcess mail and phone requests on daily basisOur future colleague5 years of insurance industry experience with at least 2 years spent working in Personal Lines ideally in a brokerage environmentActive Property and Casualty insurance licenseEffective oral and written communication and relationship building skills essentialProficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word Excel and PowerPointExceptional time management and organization skillsas well as strong attention to detailThese additional qualifications are a plus but not required to apply:Bachelors Degree in Risk Management Business Management Finance or other relevant programExperience with SalesForce ImageRight Epic or SagitaWe know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
