Job Description

VGM Forbin provides website development digital marketing and managed IT solutions for the healthcare banking retail automotive and many other industries.The Account Manager position within Forbin will focus on developing strong relationships with customers within a specific industry & territory to build trust and to allow for better customer service to those respective clients. This role will improve VGM Forbins and/or forbinfis customer service increase touch points with each client and increase sales by identifying needs with existing clients & selling deeper into existing accounts. The Account Manager will work closely with their corresponding sales Account Executive(s) and the Process Leads that will oversee the projects team workloads & ensuring all deadlines are being hit.Reports to: Sales & Business Development ManagerWorking Location: Waterloo IA; hybrid for customer meetings on-site for the team as needed company meetings and events etc.Hours: Full-Time: Monday Friday 8am-5pm CST with occasional off-hours when job duties requireResponsibilities/Duties of the JobAll Account Managers are expected to maintain expert level of product knowledge and application on assigned accounts. The Account Manager will become a strategic resource for these customers and make recommendations to improve their digital footprints and business.Client Relationship ManagementAct as the main point of contact for clients post-contract signing guiding them through onboarding and project initiationMaintain ongoing communication including meeting summaries and regular check-ins to strengthen relationships and ensure satisfaction Account Growth & UpsellingIdentify opportunities to enhance client solutions through additional products or servicesPresent demos prepare quotes and manage upgrades to existing solutionsDocument all client interactions in CRM for transparency and collaborationProject Management SupportCollect and organize client information required for production and enter details into internal systemsAssign project leads and support teams by facilitating client engagement and resolving communication challengesPrepare and process change requests or addendums for out-of-scope development needsAttend client meetings to provide guidance expertise and ensure alignment on deliverablesTraining & SupportConduct product or platform training sessions and provide technical support after project go-liveAddress client inquiries promptly to maintain a positive experienceReporting & AnalyticsPrepare and review reports on project progress marketing campaigns and performance metricsShare insights with clients to demonstrate value and identify areas for improvementStrategic CollaborationPartner with internal teams to develop sales and marketing strategies for assigned industryContribute to identifying new product or service opportunities within the industryTravel & RepresentationTravel as needed to meet with clients deliver presentations and represent the company at trade shows or industry events*Other duties as assigned.Position Qualifications Education/ExperienceBachelors degree in marketing business or equivalent work experience3-5 years of relevant work experience in account management project management customer service or web development/marketing agency operations roleSkills and CompetenciesProven experience in account management client services or related rolesKnowledge of custom website development digital marketing strategies and Managed IT solutions preferredStrong organization planning analytical and presentation skillsProven ability to build rapport and respect of clientsAn outgoing confident and persuasive mannerSound interpersonal verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized with experience and success working in a timeline driven environmentShows commitment to a client focused approach and performs consistent high quality and timely workPhysical RequirementsOperation of office equipment & using technology efficiently such as computers phones & misc. office equipmentVisual abilities to include reading distance vision and peripheral visionAvailable to travel as requiredWhats more At VGM Group we are 100% employee owned.See below or click hereto view more about VGM!
