Account Payable Specialist at HBS Default

SUMMARY: Strong Accounting Professional sought for a fully-cycle accounts payable specialist role. Performs a variety of accounts payable duties in order to maintain accurate payable records. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential functions are primarily job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted with minimal supervision from his/her supervisor.Primarily responsible for firms full-cycle Accounts Payable functions including entering invoices cutting checks and setting up new vendors.Managing accounts payable using Elite Enterprise and other banking programs.Handling accounts payable for 20 offices and many practice groups.Analyzing accounts payable workflow processes to drive improvement.Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.Ensuring invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:3 years of high volume full-cycle accounts payable processing experience legal/professional service experience preferred.Experience using Elite Enterprise or Aderant Expert preferred.Ability to demonstrate impeccable integrity in fiduciary and confidential matters.Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys staff and clients and to provide or obtain information with ordinary courtesy diplomacy and tact.Efficient data entry ability in order to perform the necessary job functions along with computer and office equipment experience.Demonstrated organizational prioritization and attention to detail skills to allow for timely effective and accurate performance of job duties.Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties.The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
