A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.WORK EXPERIENCEExperience implementing account reconciliation and controls practices within the highly regulated financial services sectorAdvanced knowledge of audit reconciliation and control process flowsFluency in financial products regional accounting principles and practicesFUNCTIONAL SKILLSExpert understanding of financial statements and general ledgers and ability to identify and highlight discrepancies or issuesExtensive knowledge of financial products accounting principles and compliance regulationsKnowledge and experience on Reconciliation System (IntelliMatch system preferable)Proven ability to explain procedures and the rationale behind account reconciliation and control initiativesThorough understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements as well as of risk types policies and control measures and processesExtensive knowledge of applicable regional accounting agencies and principles such as FASB and GAAPExpertise in process flow or workflow creation as well as process improvements to enhance service quality and process integrityDemonstrated ability to analyze and interpret reportsFOUNDATIONAL SKILLSDemonstrates leadershipCommunicates effectivelyIdentifies multiple paths to success using analytical and critical thinking as well as decision-making skillsOperates strategically to support a culture of continuous improvement and systems thinkingMakes sound business decisions in a complex work environmentCollaborates with other business functions and divisions to advance business objectivesIs flexible decisive and able to establish support from leadershipMonitors industry trends and best practices and applies insights to advance the businessExhibits and fosters optimism resilience flexibility and openness to others ideasInspires innovation and values learning as a lifelong professional objectiveLeads by example engaging inclusively and with intentAlways acts with integrityRESPONSIBILITIES Reconciliation of daily movements in assets and liabilities accounts and client settlements and investigation and resolution of reconciliation breaksReconciliation of general ledger accounts for commercial and corporate loans in the system of recordEnsuring all lending transactions are booked and managed accurately minimizing operational risks and losses and ensuring compliance with all bank policies and proceduresConducting monthly certification of general ledger balancesIdentifying and resolving breaksReducing errors and ensuring adherence to audit and control policiesIdentifying policy gaps and formulating and instituting policies to streamline processesPerforming reconciliation data analysis and making insights-based recommendationsConducting process mapping to identify significant risks and controlsSupporting activities related to both internal and external audits and other requestsOverseeing vendor quality controlEDUCATIONDegree or equivalent work experience equally preferableThe typical base pay range for this role is between $72K - $105K depending on job-related knowledge skills experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
