Position: Accountant (5 10 Years Experience) Location: 241 Ralph McGill Blvd NE Atlanta GA 30308 HYBRID Client- Georgia Power Contract- 3 Months Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Accountant with 5 10 years of progressive accounting experience to support financial operations maintain accurate records and ensure full compliance with accounting standards. This mid-level role plays a critical part in financial reporting analysis and organizational decision-making. Key Responsibilities Ensure asset records and registrations are accurate valid and up to date Perform monthly accounting calculations and process journal entries Gather data and support month-end close activities Maintain and update accounting records within the ERP system Manage and reconcile the general ledger Conduct financial and business data analysis; prepare and distribute reports Assist in the annual budgeting cycle and monitor compliance with established budgets Prepare review and analyze monthly and annual internal financial statements Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency Prepare account reconciliations and investigate variances Perform monthly revenue analysis and provide variance explanations Produce monthly trial balance variance explanations Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting (required) 5 10 years of progressive accounting experience Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial analysis Proficiency in Oracle ERP systems Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables VLOOKUP formulas etc.) Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams Proven ability to work independently prioritize tasks and manage deadlines Key Skills Internal Audit,Accounting Tally,General Ledger Accounting,External Audit,Microsoft Excel,PMP,Financial Accounting,Financial Analysis,Payroll,Financial Recouncilation,Financial statement,Accounting and Finance,ACCA,CPA,Financial Reporting Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
