Other responsibilities include:Manage NLGs freight payment solution working with divisions carriers and IT as needed to solve any accounts payable issuesSupport month-end and year-end closing activities including journal entries reconciliations compiling reports and schedulesWork with divisions across the enterprise to complete intercompany billing and reconcile differences as necessaryParticipate in business meetings and provide data or reporting as necessaryReview A/R aging and work with business partners to resolve past due transactionsOversee cash application process for accuracy and timelinessProvide assistance and support for all accounting functions within the company as necessaryCollaborate with business partners to complete special projects as necessary including systems implementations ad hoc analysis or cash flow analysisSafety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business or a related discipline or minimum two years of experience in an accounting environmentAbility to adapt to changes in work prioritiesExcellent communication skillsMicrosoft Word and Excel experience requiredDemonstrated commitment to safety quality and profitabilityProven communication skills both verbal and written organization and planning skillsPreferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting or FinancePrevious experience in a Finance or Accounting roleExcellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface effectively with internal and external customersOracle and/or D365 experience is a plusStrong Excel skills and/or Power BI ExperienceAbility to learn quickly adapt to a variety of tasks and perform work with a high degree of accuracyAbility to efficiently manage workloads and recognize prioritiesStrong organizational skillsOur Commitment to a Drug Free Workplace: Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening which includes both urine and hair follicle testing.Nucor is an Equal Opportunity and a drug free workplace Key Skills Internal Audit,Accounting Tally,General Ledger Accounting,External Audit,Microsoft Excel,PMP,Financial Accounting,Financial Analysis,Payroll,Financial Recouncilation,Financial statement,Accounting and Finance,ACCA,CPA,Financial Reporting Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
