Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for an Accountant, or Bookkeeper, for a contract-to-hire opportunity, working in an office in mid-town Richmond, Virginia.Duties include handling AP (matching, batching and coding), AR (posting payments), billing, collections, reviewing and handling leases/contracts, reconciliation, journal entries, prepare financial statements, make deposits, handle administrative duties as well.Qualifications• 8+ years of general accounting experience and strong analytical skills• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop (or Online) or other ERP system, as well as proficient with Excel, Outlook and Word required• Strong oral and written communication skills• Able to handle deadlines, professional, able to multi-task, work independently and organizedContract Pay: $24 to $28 an hourPermanent Salary Range: $55K to $65KBenefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401K, holiday pay, HSA, FSA, STD/LTD and more.If interested in this Accountant or Bookkeeper position, please apply below.Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per yearSearch managed by: Jennifer Green Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
