Lets go far together.Hear directly from our employees and leaders about theirunique journeys at Helmerich and Payne.Location: Tulsa OKWork Type: Hybrid#LI-HybridWhat you will do: Assist with the preparation of federal state and international income tax returnsAssist with the preparation of the monthly calculation of federal and state income tax depreciation filesAssist with the preparation of the quarterly and annual income tax provision calculationAssist with the preparation of quarterly federal and state estimated tax calculationsAssist with the preparation of monthly reconciliation of tax accountsAssist with the preparation of monthly franchise accrual calculationsAssist with any special projects related to federal state or international income taxWhat you need:Bachelors degree in Accounting requiredAdvanced degree and/or Certified Public Accountant preferred0-4 years of experience in a corporate tax environment or public accounting firmGeneral knowledge of federal income tax principles as well as standard corporate book/tax differencesAbility to work within a team environmentAbility to manage a workload involving multiple projects and tasks with different deadlines.Must be a self-starter and work efficiently with attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and OutlookStrong written and oral communication skillsExtended hours may be required periodically during peak work periodsWhat we offer:At H&P our commitment to our people is at the forefront and that includes benefits that provide employees a sense of health and financial security.
