About the Role:
AquaPhoenix Scientific is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team. This individual will thrive in a casual, fast-paced, and dynamic environment and consistently demonstrate high levels of confidentiality, ethics, professionalism, and integrity. This position is first shift, hourly, and onsite at our Hanover, PA location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process daily cash receipts and apply payments to customer accounts
- Maintain and update customer account records
- Review and approve new customer account setups
- Respond to customer inquiries and ensure follow-up and resolution
- Work with internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues
- Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and confidentiality standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and support team goals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or related accounting role
- Associate degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Professional and clear communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Understanding of general accounting principles and reports
