Our client, a reputable organization in the logistics and shipping industry, is seeking a dedicated Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeping to join their team. As an Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeping, you will be an essential part of the administrative support team, ensuring smooth financial operations and accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate will demonstrate dependability, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Kinston, NC

Pay Range: $15

Shift: 8am - 3pm, Monday through Thursday

What's the Job?

• Daily processing of shipments and invoicing via email, EDI, and SPS
• Data entry and operating custom accounts payable and receivable software
• Scanning, copying, and handling mail
• Filing and processing remote deposits
• Calculating job card elapsed time and maintaining payroll hours for team members using Excel

What's Needed?

• Keyboarding skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Dependability and ability to multi-task effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with good time management
• Ability to use a 10-key adding machine
