Accounting Clerk Salary & Benefits

• Salary: $50,000$60,000 annually (based on experience, education, skills, and market conditions)
• Schedule: Full-time, onsite
• Location: Breinigsville, PA manufacturing plant

Accounting Clerk Job Responsibilities

ERP, Inventory & Production Reporting

• Enter production, usage, and inventory data into ERP systems
• Audit Manufacturing Work Orders (WO) for accuracy and compliance
• Investigate variances and support corrective actions
• Train production staff on proper documentation procedures
• Manage and audit inventory adjustments from cycle counts
• Assist with physical inventory counts and discrepancy resolution

Accounting & Financial Support

• Support monthly accounting close activities
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and system-generated reports
• Process daily customer invoicing and accounts payable transactions
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX internal controls
• Assist with routine accounting and financial reporting functions

Administrative & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Scan, copy, and organize financial and operational files
• Partner with operations, shipping/receiving, and finance teams
• Support special projects and administrative tasks as needed

Accounting Clerk Qualifications

Required:

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 12 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, OnBase, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work additional hours during peak periods or month-end close
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

Preferred Attributes:

• Knowledge of manufacturing accounting and inventory controls
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
