Brightly Software, a Siemens company, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting account analysis, preparing detailed financial reports, and contributing to the enhancement of accounting processes. This role requires a strong adherence to accounting principles and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on diverse financial projects. The successful applicant will also manage accounting transactions, ensure compliance with industry standards, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations. Focus on strengthening, maintaining, and implementing internal controls related to accounting procedures and policies to guarantee the quality of book and records, and the seamless global financial close process in accordance with Siemens standards.

Migrate the Brightly Group Financial IT systems to the Siemens financial IT landscapes in close collaboration with other workstreams (e.g. from local ERP to SAP - SherpaX)

Coordinate monthly Esprit reporting, from the follow up of the closing schedule and error validations to the reporting of the figures in Esprit, ending with the preparation of management reports using digital tools (e.g. PowerBI)

Reconciliation of ERP systems vs Esprit.

Performance reports/data analysis using digital tools (e.g. PowerBI)

Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, AR, AP, treasury, fixed assets, revenue, and revenue recognition in close collaboration with the General Accounting and Revenue Recognition Senior Managers.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field

Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience

Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, KNIME, and Microsoft Excel, Accounting ERPs

Excellent communication skills and demonstrated proactivity in a professional environment

SAP experience preferred

Strong analytical foundation Comfortable analyzing financial data, explaining variances, and using tools like Power BI or Excel to turn numbers into insights.

Curiosity and improvement mindset Eager to learn, ask questions, and contribute ideas to improve processes, reporting, or controls.

Collaborative communicator Able to work across teams, clearly explain financial information, and take ownership of assigned work.
