About Us We are a fast-growing low-voltage integration and technology contractor serving the Central Florida market. Our projects include structured cabling, security, access control, audio/video, and building technology systems. We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who understands the construction environment, handles multiple moving parts, and can keep our financial operations running with accuracy and efficiency. Position Overview The Accounting Manager will manage the full accounting cycle and oversee AP, AR, payroll coordination, job costing, and financial reporting. This role requires at least 5 years of accounting management experience in construction or contracting, and strong working expertise with Sage 50 (Peachtree) plus QuickBooks Timesheets (for payroll processed through ADP). This is a local, onsite position in Altamonte Springs, FL. Must have experience in Construction, C ontracting, Electrical, or Low-voltage industries Key Responsibilities Accounting Management Oversee daily accounting operations (AP, AR, GL management, bank reconciliations). Manage job costing and ensure accurate allocation of labor, materials, and subcontractor costs. Prepare monthly financial statements, WIP (Work in Progress) reports, and job profitability analysis. Maintain and improve accounting procedures, financial controls, and documentation. Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Process vendor bills, subcontractor invoices, and credit card transactions. Manage customer billing, progress billings, and service invoices. Track collections and aging reports. Ensure proper lien releases and compliance documentation when required. Construction & Contracting Accounting Manage job budgets, cost codes, and cost tracking in Sage 50. Maintain project folders and support project managers with accurate financial data. Support purchasing, inventory tracking, and materials allocation. Payroll & Timesheets Coordinate field and office timesheets via QuickBooks Time (TSheets). Prepare and submit payroll for processing through ADP. Track PTO, labor allocations, overtime, and certified payroll (if applicable). Required Qualifications 5+ years of Accounting Management experience in construction, contracting, electrical, or low-voltage industries. Proficiency with Sage 50 (Peachtree) — REQUIRED. Experience with job costing, cost codes, and construction billing. Experience with AP/AR, general ledger, and financial reporting. Familiarity with QuickBooks Time (TSheets) and payroll processing via ADP. Strong understanding of budgets, job profitability, and WIP schedules. Must be local to Altamonte Springs / Orlando area and able to work onsite Monday–Friday. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Preferred Skills Experience in a low-voltage, electrical, technology integration, or specialty contracting environment. Knowledge of lien laws, compliance requirements, and subcontractor management. Ability to implement process improvements and modernize workflows.
