Accounting Operations Associate at Dynamic Logistix

Job Summary:The Accounting Operations Associate is an entry-level role that supports Dynamic Logistixs cash cycle and helps maintain strong customer and carrier relationships. Key responsibilities include recording cash receipts communicating account status updates and building foundational knowledge of accounting operations in the freight industry.This role provides structured development with a path toward more advanced responsibilities within DLX. Successful associates bring a positive humble persistent and forward-thinking approach. The position offers exposure to experienced finance professionals and opportunities to contribute ideas that support DLXs goals and strategy.Duties/Responsibilities:Reconcile customer and carrier accounts researching discrepancies and ensuring accurate balancesAssist with daily weekly and month-end accounting tasks such as ledger updates reporting and account reviewsMaintain accurate financial records and documentation including digital filing and audit-ready organizationSupport cash application processes including matching payments to invoices and resolving unapplied cashMonitor and update internal accounting systems ensuring data accuracy and consistency across platformsAssist with financial reporting preparation including KPI tracking variance notes and ad-hoc reportsSupport internal controls following established procedures and identifying gaps or improvement opportunitiesCollaborate with operations and sales teams to resolve billing issues missing documents or rate discrepanciesParticipate in process improvement initiatives automation projects and system enhancementsProvide customer service support for finance-related inquiries ensuring clear and timely communicationAssist with compliance tasks including maintaining documentation for audits or regulatory requirementsOther duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrates business aptitude seeking continuous improvement and profitabilityDesire and ability to work in an environment seeking continuous improvement leveraging automation technology and AIExcellent communication for cross-functional collaborationEducation and Experience:Bachelors degree in business related major (Accounting/Finance) preferred1 years of accounting or business operations experienceFamiliarity with ERP Systems (Sage Intaact Lockstep or similar) preferredStrong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skillsPhysical Requirements:Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands arms and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment use a telephone access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels including overheadAbility to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance over the telephone and in a group settingAbility to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)Mental acuity sufficient to collect and interpret data evaluate reason define problems establish facts draw valid conclusions make valid judgments and decisionsDynamic Logistix is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity or expression pregnancy age national origin disability status genetic information protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
