Accounting Specialist at EOG Resources

Accounting Specialist will play an integral role in the Shared Services accounting group with a focus on sand cost forecasting reporting and accounting duties. The position will also assist the current team with daily and monthly responsibilities while providing analytical support to management and operations. Also with the EAP acquisition and in anticipation of an additional sand mine in Ohio the accountant will provide support towards the additional duties while allowing further development of the team.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze sand forecast and modeling for DivisionsSand plant cost management for West Texas South Texas and OhioZ&T Treedog and Abrego OhioTrucking cost management for DivisionsSupport for additional activity in Ohio relating to EAP acquisition and future Ohio sand lease and mineReconciling G/L balances and costs allocated to DivisionsMaintain vendor relationship communication and invoicing reconciliationDivision coordination and communication of costVariance analysis of monthly and quarterly costsSupport day-to-day accounting functions that relate to sand purchases trucking logisticsMaintain and manage current and future sand and trucking commitmentsLease AccountingSupport for future additional workloadsBachelors degree in Accounting preferred CPA is a plus.
