Role Overview Mercor is partnering with a cutting-edge AI research initiative to generate high-quality Excel-based training data for financial modeling. Were seeking experienced finance specialists with deep Excel expertise to help synthesize realistic structurally complex spreadsheets across key financial domains. This short-term project-based engagement offers a unique opportunity to contribute domain knowledge to frontier model development. Key Responsibilities Design and write detailed prompts for generating complex financial Excel models Review and refine AI-generated spreadsheets for structural integrity and formula accuracy Ensure financial logic dynamic formulas and input-calculation separation are correctly implemented Contribute models such as amortization schedules lease accounting (ASC 842) bank reconciliations and fixed asset rolls Deliver fully functional formula-dense Excel files that meet rigorous quality standards You will be given access to State-of-the-Art AI Agent that help you created advanced excels!! Ideal Qualifications 3 years of experience in accounting audit or financial reporting Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including complex formulas modeling and spreadsheet architecture Meticulous attention to detail and ability to verify mathematical and structural accuracy Experience creating or auditing Excel models used in professional settings More About the Opportunity Remote and asynchronous contributors set their own schedule Expected time commitment: 10h/week Project duration: 1 week (with possibility for extension) Target volume: 20 unique high quality Excel files in 1 week.
