The AP Administrator will provide financial administrative and clerical support to the Accounting Department by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are recorded in accordance with the companys policies and procedures in an efficient timely and accurate manner.Our Accounts Payable Administrator is a salaried position that may require investment of time and effort beyond a traditional work week.We are looking for you to have a positive attitude towards change with a great ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Accounts Payable Administrator duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:Review and verify invoices and check requestsSort code and match invoicesEnter and upload invoices into systemReconcile and process payment for companys credit cardsTrack expenses and process expense reportsPrepare electronic transfers and payments for supervisor submissionPrepare and perform bi-weekly check runsReconcile accounts payable transactionsPrepare various AP related analysisTrack monthly and budgeted expensesResearch and resolve invoice discrepancies and issuesCorrespond with vendors and respond to inquiriesAssist with month end closingProvide supporting documentation for auditsProcess depositsEDUCATION (OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE)Bachelors degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent business experience1-3 years experience in accountingSKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIREDProficiency and aptitude for general accounting software programs including Microsoft Office Sage/Timberline Office Connector and Onesite.Organizing and prioritizingAttention to detail and accuracyJudgmentCommunication skillsInformation management skillsAbility to meet deadlinesPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
