Accounts Payable Associate at Lighthouse Technology Services

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Accounts Payable Associate position! This is a 3 month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be on-site in Tonawanda NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services during the contract period.What Youll Be Doing:Process accounts payable invoices: review code and enter them into the ERP system.Match invoices with checks and scan them into a digital archive.Reconcile vendor accounts and statements on a monthly basis.Maintain accurate vendor records in compliance with company policies.Respond to department/vendor inquiries regarding invoice payments.Attend meetings with the Quality department to resolve vendor issues.Communicate with departments to clarify invoice discrepancies related to pricing or receiving.Maintain W-9 forms and update vendor records accordingly.Sort stamp and manage A/P mail and outgoing postage.What Youll Need to Have:1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience.Critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Self-motivated and confident with a strong ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment.High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Accounting preferred).Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel Outlook Adobe Acrobat and Windows.Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Effective communication skills both written and verbal.Basic understanding of accounting principles.Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a busy office setting.Pay Rate:$23/hrQuestions about any of our jobs Email us atView all of our open jobs here:Required Experience:IC Key Skills Customer Service,Lotus Notes,Corporate Strategy,ABAP,Ethernet,Java Employment Type : Hourly Experience: years Vacancy: 1
